  21. Everything rendered okay on that frame (it is NOT an anim, just F9 it) 
  22. after it rendered I hit the RETURN key to get back to LAYOUT but it would 
  23. not respond!  I have tried the ESC key as well and nothing.  I do notice 
  24. something different and that is when I was flipping thru my screens there 
  25. are 2 of the SAME screens with the message of how much time and frame and 
  26. stuff!  I was thinking I might have been on the wrong frame so I tried to 
  27. hit RETURN and ESC key on that frame and still nothing.  CPU % is normal 
  28. so LW itself was not eating up CPU time.

  35.     I have had a very similar problem with 3.5 myself Since I am 
  36. impatient, I found a simple cure. By alternating pressing ESC and depressing 
  37. the left mouse button, I can usually get back to layout.
